Mission Statement
At Cool Daddy Disc Golf, our mission is to help grow the sport of disc golf while providing excellent customer service. We believe disc golf is not only a sport but a way of life, promoting an active and healthy lifestyle. We are committed through Clash Discs to offer high-quality products to help you enjoy and excel in your game.
Back Story
Some of you may know me as Cool Daddy Slick Breeze or that bald guy who used to work at Dynamic Discs. My disc golf journey started back in 2009 when a friend introduced me to the sport. To be honest, I didn't immediately fall in love with disc golf as a player, but it all changed when I got involved in the media side of things.
It all started when my friend asked me to do some media work for the disc golf courses he built in Pawhuska, OK. That's when I discovered my passion for capturing the sport through photos and videos. Soon enough, I crossed paths with Jeremy Rusco and began doing part-time work for his company, Dynamic Discs. I traveled to their early events, snapping photos and shooting videos. Eventually, I got the opportunity to produce tournament videos for the Dynamic Discs Dirty Dozen Tour.
In 2014, Dynamic Discs had grown so much that they hired me full-time as their media manager, and I made the move to Emporia, Kansas. I had a blast working with players, creating educational videos, managing social media, and being the online face of the brand. It was an exciting time for both me and Dynamic Discs.
Now, let's fast forward to 2021. After facing some personal challenges, I decided to move back home to Tulsa, Oklahoma. I started working for myself as a social media manager for various disc golf brands like Whale Sacs, Disc Golf Strong, Idio Sports, Revel Strength and Fitness, and Clash Discs. During my time with Clash Discs, I discovered that they were a brand-new disc golf company. The owner had discovered the sport during the COVID pandemic and had the means to produce top-notch discs.
After collaborating with Clash Discs for over a year, I decided to take things a step further and open an online retail store to sell their amazing products. And that's how Cool Daddy Disc Golf was born. My goal is to offer high-quality disc golf gear through my partnership with Clash Discs, using my experience to help grow their brand.
I can't express enough how grateful I am to the disc golf community for all the opportunities it has given me. The future is bright, and I can't wait to see what's in store for all of us.
